I have been on the search for the "camera bag" that does not only hold my camera gear but also a 17" mac pro laptop. My specs included also, that it could fit a 70-200 2.8 lens. A Hero Go Pro Kit. My fuji instant film camera. A flash, 50mm lens. A s95 canon point n shoot. And any other essentials that are not scattered in other bags. This bag seems to be it! I will be traveling this summer and filming on location as well. I am thrilled that it is two tone; grey and yellow. The yellow is inside and makes it so much easier to find things. It is a basic with the mere essentials. The only thing that I found surprising that in the inside flap there are not any waterproof zip pouches/inserts. The inside of the flap could have been ideal for this. Easy access for flash cards, etc. My 17"inch mac pro fits with no room to spare. Perfect. Zippers are well seamed. One zip has a bit of a catch but just a matter of how you position it. Clips are great. Chest harness seems fine. Waist belt is basic meaning not padded and I don't think it really is needed. Although, I have not put all my gear in.. Shoulder pads and back of the pack is extremely well designed and padded. The padding in the the Spectrum is top notch quality. I have yet to utilize it. I just got it today. I picked it out at the BnH photo in NYC last week. Again, I have been searching for the ideal "Lily" travel camera bag and after looking at "Think Tanks" LowePro, Tamarac, etc...I found it. Price point fabulous. Ironic that Mountain Smith was founded in Golden, Colorado. My grandmother lived in Golden and my first camera was given by my grandmother. So full circle. Cheers.
